Austria-Hungary proposes the formation of a European-wide currency that can be used for business practices. As the relative logistic representatives of Europe, our people are constantly trading currency for currency, it's a complete waste of time on everyone's ends. Austria Hungary has notes, France has Francs, Britain has shillings, Germany has marks. Our Empire extends throughout Central, Western, Southern, and Eastern Europe and our merchants and businessmen deal with exchanging currency on a daily basis, essentially, all profit is lost because of the values changing and fluctuating from one Empire to another. It is time we address this issue or we all slowly suffocate our private, small-business practices and that of the lower class. We would like to emphasize the introduction of paper currency in Britain and how it has flourished for over a good century after being transferred here in Europe. Perhaps, we to should follow suite in paper as a currency, but we should have it uniformed. One universal currency, different value intervals, but worth the same inside all Empires. The Banking Empire, who primarily operates inside the Austro-Hungarian Empire, would extend its reach throughout Europe with this process. Giving every territory access to funding and all available opportunities.

Certainly an interesting concept, though I feel it must be practiced before we enter in to this sort of agreement. Once we see the results, we shall make a decision.

Every nation uses some form of the Banking Empire which originated in Austria-Hungary. They pay with their francs, shillings and marks which are all turned into Austrian bank notes, like any prosperous business would do. We see the results after all. However, only the Empire who runs the World Banks sees this, it's time to share this opportunity with the rest of Europe. (The use of the Banking Empire is stimulating the World Economy. When we start paying standing army taxes and Technology taxes to the Banking Empire NPC, we'll see a lot more finances moving around.)

Britain will support and adhere to this so long as it proves a benefit, and not some failed equalizing attempt.

The Ukrainian Empire supports the idea of a continental currency. May I suggest coins. (OOC: as learned when in Canada, coins are way easier to produce and regulate.) I believe that using a continental currency will be to the benefit of all our nations.

I suggest copper with an iron coating or iron with a copper coating. Why? You may ask. Because most of outer nations, if not all, have the resources of iron and copper available to us. Maybe nations who provide resources for coins shall receive a small tax cut

Very valid point, Demosthanes. What should our intervals be? I say we base them off a basic, common item. Say, bread. One note of this currency should be equal to one loaf of freshly-baked bread.

I support that idea. Bread, maybe a pound of meat, or a gallon of gasoline.

The international currency is hereby established. The Banking Empire will no longer accept any national currencies other than the initial transaction of the national currencies (francs, marks, etc) into eurocoins. A coin is made of iron, with a copper coating. To prevent counterfeit opportunities, all coins are minted in established Banking Empire capitals: Vienna, Budapest, and another mint is being founded in Berlin. These minted coins are uniquely pressed with elaborate designs to prevent counterfeit as well, elaborate enough to prevent skilled metalworkers from creating their own funds. One eurocoin is equivalent in value to an average loaf of freshly baked bread. This value is meant to determine a specific average-ness and accessibility. Along with the eurocoin, the deurocoin is also created, it is worth 10 eurocoins and finished with a bronze coating around a sliver of iron. A note can be printed by visiting a Banking Empire facility and turning in at least 150 eurocoins. The note is then printed, inked and engraved with its net worth of eurocoins that were turned into the Bank for said note. Values at 150 eurocoins or above.
