Independence from the U.K.

This is an announcement stating Portugal's independence from Britain. We have worked out this agreement peacefully under the terms that we supply marble and other resources to our mother country. We would like to align with all the lands under the control of GeminiBios, we will engage in trade that is both often and profitable for both nations. We wish to strengthen our bonds with our neighboring countries while enriching ourselves in the knowledge that they can provide. We are very excited to start our journey to becoming a self sufficient and enlightened state, we hope that our allies will be along for the ride.
