Scandinavian People's Declaration of Independence from France
We the people of Scandinavia(Sweden-Norway) would like to formally announce our decision to declare our independence from the French Empire. We have decided that Scandinavia should be a nation totally sovereign and free from control of any foreign empire. We as a nation wishes to pursue alliance elsewhere, looking towards Germany as partners as they enter a new era of sovereignty. The people of Scandinavia wish to leave France peacefully and will take as many measures as it can to do so. [Reply on this thread or PM me for negotiations if need be] But we would like the French to know that we Scandinavians are ready and willing to fight for what is ours and refuse to back down as a people in leaving your Empire. And I, as Prime Minister of the Scandinavian Republic vow to defend my nation and its peoples to my last breathe.
Still, we wish for peace over war and would prefer diplomacy to take the utmost precedence to fighting. We sincerely wish to maintain a peaceful diplomatic relationship with France.

What are the Scandinavian Empire's plans for the future?

I am glad to see that this independence is being sought by peaceful means. It seems as if the Swiss Empire and I are leading by example!
