Due to the lack of cohesion and the recent violent outbreaks in Britain's close neighbor, Ireland, we have decided to make their great struggle our own and annex them into The British Empire. Their resources and culture will be made available to all of Europe through our great nation alone. May we all benefit from this glorious unification.

Surveying of Ireland has commenced and will be complete within the day. If all goes well, British recovery and reformation forces will be entering the country by night fall.

Ireland appears to be in as great a lack of leadership as ever and the peace of our nation is suffering for it. Our local politics have been riled with arguments and after much debate and examination into our recent reports, The British Empire has decided to side with the pro-British Irish minority and will bring peace to these troublesome lands until such a time that a real ruler might step up. With this ideal, and the support of the Irish minority, we declare War on the Irish state, if one could even call it such right now. We are now deploying troops, 200,000.

The military presence of Britain has persuaded our Irish friends and we have not only reunified Ireland, but have unified Ireland and Britain for a great United Kingdom. The British Empire is ever so pleased to establish a land with such prosperous potential and we look forward to our next opportunity to extend our hand to those in need of a strong, centralized, benevolent leader.
