Overview of the Economic Rating system. Every established state (empires ruled by a real player) is given a predetermined, random rating of a two or a three. This result is literally chosen by me flipping a coin at my desk. An Empire's Economic Rating ultimately affects its ability to send aid, it's strength internally and externally, its GDP, stronger government/business ventures, the ability for neighboring empire trade (not raw resources), its place in the event generator, and a variety of other realistic reasons. The Rating is on a scale of -3 to 7. 7 being the best, however, note that it is possible to be spending too much and then go into debt. 3 is average. The following below are ways the Economic Rating is affected and the current Ratings of Empires.
The resource, gold, grants +1
The resource, silver, grants +1
The resource, diamond, grants +2
During war, +1 for a struggling economy, -1 for an economic powerhouse or positive economy
During war, -2 if being invaded; -1 if the Empire is being invaded and winning
Lose of the capital of an Empire, -3
This number can also be altered by the event generator.
